It seems promoters across the country are lining-up to book songbird Kelly Khumalo, just weeks after she lost her boyfriend Senzo Meyiwa.

The Daily Sun, is reporting that most promoters have said the controversy around the singer’s personal life is not an issue for them. And her single Asine has been doing well all over Mzansi.

Mdu Ngcobo, organiser of the Durban Jazz Festival planned for 26 December, told Daily Sun: “I booked Kelly because she is one of the hottest artists at the moment. I’m not going to judge her for whatever has happened in her life, especially if it has nothing to do with music.

“As far as I know, she has not been charged with anything related to Senzo’s death.”
