40-year-old police officer, Sergeant Matome Rathupetsane celebrated his birthday on 30 May by donating 80 food parcels to disadvantaged families.

COVID-19 has exposed just how poverty stricken some families are in the country, in a way that has shocked many.

Families who have nothing to eat are relying on good Samaritans such as Matome to lend a helping hand for them not to go hungry. Being able to do this, has brought joy to the officer.
