Mthembu took to Twitter to sound the alarm on the alleged altercation that she says happened over the Durban July weekend at KwaMax Chisanyama, in KwaZulu Natal on Sunday. Lvovo Derrango was billed to perform on the day. Expressing her utter disappointment in the entertainer, Thobi said she'd "lost all respect" in him after he threw a glass at her for accidentally bumping into him.
Soo lastnight I was backstage at some KwaMax event- and Im minding my own business, I move to see a performance and slightly bump some man.. — •RoseBud• (@Thobi_M) July 4, 2016
As I say "Sorry" he decides to push me out of the way..I dont recognise this man so I just carry on minding my business...( its @LvovoSA ) — •RoseBud• (@Thobi_M) July 4, 2016
Now I'm shocked at why he would be like this- I carry on chilling and avoiding him because hes starting to scare me- Literally — •RoseBud• (@Thobi_M) July 4, 2016
He then looks at me before going to perform and starts moving closer to me- I immediately start moving towards the guys I came with .. — •RoseBud• (@Thobi_M) July 4, 2016
Im shocked - everyone around us saw it and I go tell a few of the people..now hes being handled by his peeps and looks very angry.. — •RoseBud• (@Thobi_M) July 4, 2016
The 'Next Better Man' would not have any of it, initially responding via a subtweeting then later going on to say that he chooses not to respond to 'lies':

I choose not to respond in LIES!! — Lvovo Derrango (@LvovoSA) July 4, 2016
Speaking to Daily Sun, Derrango declined taking part in the incident. "I was sitting at backstage and did not go into the crowd," he said.
