The family of the late Olympic gold medalist Mbulaeni Mulaudzi is at loggerheads over his estate. The Sowetan newspaper reported that his parents Sara and Daniel Mulaudzi were served with a letter by the court on Friday the 5th to return the furniture they had taken from his widow, Tondani.

According to reports when Daniel and Sara took the furniture that included mirrors, artwork, and TV, Tondani was unaware of it. Speaking to the Sowetan Tondani said, "I am shocked and am still puzzled by the whole drama."

Tondani who was married to Mbulaeni for 11 years did not attend his funeral in October after he died from a road accident. At the time of the funerals she says she was heavily pregnant.

On her feelings about her in laws and what they have done Tondani says she holds no hard feelings and is willing to engage with them. "I am willing to reconcile and forgive them," Tondani told Sowetan. She also says she has never had any fight with them before and she will not start it now.

On their part Daniel and Sara said they are still healing. Speaking through their family spokesperson Lutamo Ramuedzisi said when asked for comment, the media should speak to the sheriff.
