The sheer brilliance of Advocate Tembeka Ngcukaitobi

The sheer brilliance of Advocate Tembeka Ngcukaitobi, the lawyer who has been representing the Economic Freedom Fighters in the state capture report case, has got tongues wagging on various social media platforms.

Many people were impressed with the way he demolished the arguments raised by Cooperative Governance Minister Des van Rooyen, who sought to delay the release of the Public Protector's report on how the Gupta family has or has not influenced the way President Jacob Zuma runs his administration.

A while back DRUM caught up with Ngcukaitobi and here's what he told us:

He was as taken aback when EFF leader Julius Malema publically praised him. This unexpected tribute came because he was the man who filed papers for the EFF in the Constitutional Court, to force President Jacob Zuma to implement the Public Protector’s recommendation on Nkandla. Advocate Tembeka Ngcukaitobi did what many other advocates were reluctant to do. “To be honest, I was surprised,” he 38-year-old legal eagle says. “I was not expecting Malema to sing my praises. Obviously, I take pride in the Constitutional Court ruling and the role I played as an advocate, but it is not something I want to be known for. I was not alone. There were other people involved who played important roles in this case.” On Tuesday, Adv. Ngcukaitobi has social media buzzing:
