Zille laughs off naked spoof

DA leader Helen Zille has laughed off a photoshoped picture of her posing naked and published on Facebook, The Star reported on Wednesday.

The picture, of an obviously elderly body, has Zille's head and a Democratic Alliance logo covering her private parts.

Zille told the newspaper: "Now you can see why I try to cycle vigorously for an hour every day. I obviously need more than Botox."

A person with the Facebook name William ANCYL posted the picture and has refused demands to take it down. He said the picture was revenge for Brett Murray's painting "The Spear", which depicts President Jacob Zuma with his genitals showing.

The painting of Zuma has outraged many South Africans who feel it is an insult to Zuma's office, and culturally offensive for an elderly person to be so depicted.
