Ingredients
Chips
4 potatoes, boiled until just done and cut into wedges
salt and pepper
45ml (3T) olive oil
Chops
4 pork chops
salt and pepper
15ml (1T) butter
15ml (1T) olive oil
juice of 1 lemon
Sauce
45ml (3T) butter
4 garlic cloves, crushed
To serve
a bunch of mixed fresh herbs chopped Preheat the oven to 200°C. Line a baking sheet with foil and grease with nonstick spray.
Method
- Chips Arrange the potatoes on the baking sheet. Season well with the salt and pepper. Pour the oil over and mix lightly. Bake for 25-30 minutes or until golden brown and crispy.
- Chops Season the chops on both sides. Heat the butter and oil in a pan and fry the chops until done. Sprinkle the lemon juice over and set aside.
- Sauce Heat the ingredients in a saucepan until the garlic changes colour. Pour over the chops.
- To serve Sprinkle the herbs over the chips. Serve with the sauce covered chops.
