Cheese russian roll with easy cheese sauce


Crispy bacon and a super-easy cheese sauce are a golden addition to this classic Russian roll.


500g Eskort Cheese Russians

2 medium onions

30 ml (2 T) oil for frying

4 hot dog buns

olive oil

200g Eskort Diced Bacon, fried crispy

Cheese sause

250ml (1c) cold milk

250ml (1c) processed cheese, cut into blocks


  • Slice the onions into rings and deep-fry in a pot over medium heat.
  • Fry the Russians in a frying pan with some olive oil over medium heat, about 5 minutes each side.
  • In a saucepan over moderate heat, warm the milk and slowly add the cheese, stirring until melted.
  • Assemble by adding the Russians to the buns, add the cheese sauce and top with fried onion and bacon.
