Buyisile Maseko growth head FNB Home Finance. Responsible for the strategic growth of the Gold Sub-Segments, her focus is to deliver innovative products that improve customer experiences. Her specific focus is the affordable-housing portfolio, which means she’s overseen projects where the private and public sector have come together to face the challenges of affordable housing in South Africa. Buyisile started her career at Discovery, but joined FNB in 2017 as a business support manager for FNB International. She holds a BCom honours in financial management.
Sifiso Nkosi growth head for Stokvels and Group Banking. His aim is to use his experience in cash-flow management for small and medium enterprises (SMEs) and his knowledge of the stokvel market to help groups reach their financial goals. His previous experience includes time at Standard Bank and South African Breweries (SAB) and he holds a BA honours degree in marketing communications.
Palesa Lengolo is a financial expert and author. Her book, Stokvels: How They Can Make Your Money Work for You, specifically talks about the benefits of stokvels and how they are the “secret weapon” of South Africans. She is also a financial professional with years of experience in accounting, investments and banking, as well as the founder of Palengo Holdings. She’ll be chatting about how stokvels have evolved and are evolving to adapt to the current economy and world situation.
