These simple steps will help you change your mindset and give you a new mantra – try it today

The body positivity movement has been trending for a while and for good reason.

It’s all about adoring your body despite any “flaws” you see.

Not loving what your mama gave you can be detrimental to your self-esteem and stop you from taking the time to work on what you want to change. Afterall, who wants to put effort into something they don’t like?

Here are some daily habits that will have you falling head over heels for the body you’re in:

Watch your thoughts

When you look in the mirror, take note of what you think about yourself. Look for things you do like and make an effort to think about those things whenever you’re facing yourself.

Make a love list

Make a list of what you like about your body. Think about what your body is capable of doing, for example, and write down all the positive things before placing the list where you can see it daily.

Don’t compare yourself to others

Using someone else’s health journey as inspiration is one thing but never forget that yours is the only body you have – loving it is going to reap much more benefits than bashing it.

Have a plan

But one that’s not too overwhelming, causing you to quit in frustration. Without a plan, it’s easy to get that greasy lunch that will leave you feeling sluggish.

Our 28-day eating plan, Detox with DRUM offers delicious meals, a handy shopping list to make the dishes so that nothing is wasted as well as expert tips to keep you on track. And it’s all in one place! See more here
