Our readers had a blast at the Stokvel Mom & Child Forum event – here’s what went down

We’ve missed many comforts and routines during lockdown, but our sense of community and togetherness ranks high on the list.

Luckily our events were still able to take place online, giving stokvel lovers and our readers a chance to get together, learn some new insights and share a few laughs – albeit virtually.

The Stokvel Mom & Child Forum in association with Nestlé CERELAC, Nestlé NESTUM and Nestlé NIDO was another opportunity to gather and we proved we can still have socially distanced fun.

Moms and caregivers expressed their need for information and tips on their growing little ones, and the Nestlé team was on hand to provide much-needed insights.

Dr Nomasonto Magobe tackled burning questions and provided  answers to our event-goers’ concerns.

From caregiving tips to feeding to starting the new journey of adding solid foods to your baby’s diet and how to win during mealtime – we covered it all.

Raising a child during lockdown with less help on hand and new challenges can be tricky but we proved we are never alone, and a sense of community can always be felt. Especially with our regular stokvels.

Fun was had, prizes were won and moms in all forms were inspired.

Keep an eye out for our next event!
