ABOUT NEW GENERATION

Established only a few months ago, New Generation Social Club is doing well. The women-only burial stokvel was started by friends who live in the same area. Each member can register up to 13 family members on the burial plan. The names of these members must be written as they appear on their identity document to avoid any confusion or loss of a claim. After making a claim, the member must provide a valid death certificate.

If members attend the funeral it may not be necessary to provide the proof of payment as the funeral programme will have the names of the deceased. The ladies club has a uniform: pink T-shirts, black skirt, stockings, black shoes and a black beret.
