HUMBLE BEGINNINGS

Siyasizana Ladies Club was formed in 2014 by female nurses who worked at a hospital in Ladysmith, KwaZulu-Natal. As the club grew, some teachers in the area also joined the club. Today the stokvel has a total of 23 members. It’s a burial society and was formed because members saw the financial difficulties that they faced when they had to bury a loved one. The ladies club has a uniform.

They wear lemon or mauve coloured golf shirts with the name of the club at the back, paired with either denim skirts or denim jeans.
