It won’t prevent our hair from going grey or our eyesight from failing but exercise can help with certain debilitating symptoms of ageing.

Studies show that things like cognitive impairment, muscle wasting, bone thinning and cardiovascular damage don’t happen in the same way in people who work out often.

Admittedly it may get harder, but age is not an excuse to avoid physical activity. It doesn’t have to be too hectic or too time-consuming.
