It's hard to lose weight – my metabolism is just no longer the same.

How many of you have said, or heard your peers say, that?

“We know there are definitely certain conditions that will change your metabolic rate for sure," the University of Cape Town’s (UCT) Professor Lara Dugas told UCT News after the publication of the study. But the slowing down of our metabolisms start much later than has generally thought to be the case.
