Since dropping his debut album “MotswakOriginator” Khuli Chana has been getting rave reviews and has been picking up awards at a terrifying pace.

The mix of Setswana and English lyrics he utilises, delivered in a creative and innovative style of rhyming, give his music a refreshing appeal that pulls audiences towards his music in a manner that many try, but fail to imitate. Many would argue that he has been paying his dues in the Southern African Hip Hop scene and is merely getting his just rewards at this stage.

His roots lie in the ‘golden era’ of Hip Hop where he formed a rap duo with Kay-G called Jazzzadaz, he then went on to team up with Towdee and formed the Mostwako group Morafe which came up with club hits like “The Whole Thang”

His solo career  has been nothing but sensational too, with his music video for the hit single “Tswa Daar”, where he handpicked all 60 extras from his Facebook Fanpage, earning him the most votes at 2012 Channel O Music Video Awards.  Khuli Chana released his second solo studio album entitled Lost in Time on 16 November 2012.

The album, in true Khuli Chana signature style, consists mostly of tracks in his vernacular Setswana mixed with English, as well as collaborations with some of the industry’s rap giants such as: Reason, AKA, and Zeus.
