For you to understand my experience of the South African corporate workplace, I need to start where it all began. I entered those hallowed corridors of commerce having lived a life of wishes and plans for my future, but I began in a specific context at a certain time in post-apartheid South Africa.

My name is Lindelwa, which means ‘awaited’. I love my name.
