Johannesburg - AKA isn’t shy about speaking his mind on social media.
In a series of tweets the Fully In rapper said although he has over three million followers, only a fraction are real fans.
“The rest of y’all full of dog s**t, walking round like I owe you something,” he wrote.
I have 3.3 million followers on twitter. To the ones that have bought my album, thank you very much. I love you. ?? To the other few million of you fucking around .... https://t.co/9baKNbEiCR ... that’s why I don’t take y’all seriously on this fucking platform.— AKA (@akaworldwide) July 25, 2018
I have 3.3 million followers, why don’t I sell at least a million??? .... let me tell you why .... coz like, 500k of you are like ACTUAL fans, the rest of y’all full of dog shit, walking round like I owe you something.— AKA (@akaworldwide) July 25, 2018

3.3 MILLION FOLLOWERS AND IT TAKES ME WEEKS TO GET TO 40/50k sales .... WHERE YALL AT?!?! WHAT ARE YALL DOING?!?! ..... I’d rather have 50k hardcore fans than have 3.2 million fake ones. ??— AKA (@akaworldwide) July 25, 2018
To show how strongly he feels about this, the 30-year-old rapper asked “real” fans to post pictures of themselves holding their copy of his recent album, Touch My Blood, and to use the hashtag #TouchMyBloodNOW when posting.
Matter fact, it’s time to post yourself with your copy so we know who’s real and who’s fufu!!! #TouchMyBloodNOW IS THE HASHTAG!!!! ????????— AKA (@akaworldwide) July 25, 2018
And just as he requested, the tweets started streaming in.
TOUCH MY BLOOD RIGHT FUCKING NOW YA HEARD?!?! ?? https://t.co/QPfyCJNoKH— AKA (@akaworldwide) July 25, 2018
