The widow of multi-award-winning gospel singer Sfiso Ncwane, Ayanda Ncwane, wrote an open letter to the Neyi Zimu’s wife Nelisiwe Zimu on how to survive widowhood.
In the post, the 34-year-old sent Nelisiwe heartfelt words and recounted her own experience of losing her late husband who died of kidney failure .

She wrote about some of the things Nelly should anticipate now that gospel singer Neyi Zimu is no more. She told her that she will be entering a very dark, brutal, lonely, cold, unpleasant, and horrifying journey that can be very easy when you walk it with God and depend on Him.
“Dear Nelly. Fact 1. Your new life has begun sis. Fact 2. Heaven is sending down emergency angel carrying a package of divine strength and peace that surpasses all understanding for you. Fact 3. You are entering a very dark, brutal, lonely, cold, unpleasant, horrifying journey that is very easy when you walk it with God and depending on Him,” she wrote.
Ayanda, who’s published and dedicated a book to her husband, added that she believes in the strength that God has given Nelly and encouraged her to be strong.
“Fact 4. I believe in your strength woman of God. Qina ntombazane! Ubushade IQhawe! #RestInPeaceNeyZim you served my brother & greater is your reward waiting for you Qhawe!. #04.12.2019 [sic]”.
