Bonang gifts President Ramaphosa some BNG following Instagram chat

On 8 May South Africans took to the polls to cast their vote in the general elections, and what better way to urge first-time voters to make their mark than an Instagram Live chat with Bonang Matheba and President Cyril Ramaphosa.

After catching up with the president the entertainer made him a custom House of BNG gift as thanks.

“Look what I had made!! A thank you gift for the awesome IG chat today . . . can’t wait to give it to him!” she captioned a snap of the gift.

During the short Insta Live chat the pair spoke about voting and the president asked Bonang to encourage all young people who love their country to vote “regardless of the political party they would be voting for”.

“Mr Preezy I’m woke. I’m like all my fans need to go and vote!” the local entertainer can be heard saying while in her car at a voting station.
