Babalwa was dressed in a stunning white shirt with butterfly sleeves and the most dramatic orange pants – a great fit for the star of the night!

Her guests were treated to the finest meal and perfect picture moments, which they certainly took advantage of. Babalwa posted a few snaps and thanked her celebrity publicist friend, Linda Moeketsi, for planning her birthday dinner.

“Listen I was just good to chill and just collect my gifts from friends... he was like ohhh helll no!" she wrote.

“I had initially wanted to travel to Havana with a group of friends this year! To honor my heroes Fidel Castro and Che Guevara... but alas we ended up with an amazing amazing Cuban dinner,” she continued.

Writing his heart-warming birthday message for his friend, Linda captioned his own post: “Happy Birthday my love. If I had to write all that you are to me and what we’ve been through together, I’d have to write a book.”

“The long and short of it is that there’s nothing I appreciate more about you than your authenticity and genuine love you give. You have been consistent for all the many years I’ve known you - I can legit call you my bestie without hesitation and there’s only a hand full of people I can do that with.

“On this day, I wish for you nothing but the same level of love you give to me. Happy Birthday my Barbie.”
