Kelly Khumalo’s emotional COVID-19 summoning: ‘I’ve been asked to tell you guys to get on your knees’


The lockdown seems to be taking its toll on a lot of South Africans as staying indoors has its different effects on us. Singer Kelly Khumalo, however, took to Instagram to post a video of herself asking the world to pray.

The singer can be seen crying throughout the vid as she speaks about her summoning.

“I have been summoned to ask you guys to get on your knees and tell God what you want out of this situation,” she says in between sniffles. “I haven’t stopped crying and I’m just asking you to get on your knees right now.” She tearfully ended the caption of her video with the hashtag, #GodWillEndCOVID-19.
