Lady Zamar claps back on 'being replaced by Sha Sha': There is space for everyone

It seems like singer and songwriter Yamikani Janet Banda aka Lady Zamar can never catch a break from social-media drama.

This time, the Love is Blind singer’s name was dragged into a Twitter user’s claim that she is being "replaced" by amapiano vocalist Sha Sha.

“Just like Lady Zamar replaced Bucie, Sha Sha has replaced Lady Zamar!” the troll commented on a video posted by Sha Sha.

Lady Zamar did not take kindly to the tweet and was quick to respond, saying, "You guys do not have any respect for women in the music/entertainment industry. like we are not seen or even taken seriously. my goodness the disrespect is disgusting. It’s like one woman at a time vibe with you all... What must happen? [sic]"

The Collide hit-maker also set the record straight, highlighting how there is enough space for everyone and how all females in the industry can co-exist without being compared. Especially, as they are all unique and doing different things within the industry.

"Let me help you do the math. There are over 50 million people living in SA and six billion people in the world ... There is enough for everyone. There is space for everyone."

"Leave the ladies to be who they are. My goodness I’m exhausted. So, on behalf of every female artist from back then to now and those who are yet to come. WE HAVE OUR OWN IDENTITIES. If you like any one artists music over the other, do that. Enjoy that," she added.
