They were inseparable; they danced, gymed, laughed, and prayed together.
They were couple goals and still are, even though he's gone.
It's been four months since Shona Ferguson died and his wife, actress and media personality Connie, has been going through all the stages of grief.
This month they would have celebrated their 20th wedding anniversary and on the day, she took to social media to remember her husband.
The late media mogul Shona passed away due to Covid-19 complications and was buried in August.
On the day of their anniversary, she said that "Today I am not okay."
Last month, Shona won an award for best lead actor in a drama series at the Hollywood and African Prestigious Awards (HAPA) for Kings of Joburg role.
A proud Connie penned a tribute to his husband, sharing how proud she is of him.
“I am beyond elated for this win!” she said.
“Your passion, your drive, your creative genius and your undeniable talent went unrecognised for the longest time, but that never discouraged nor deterred you from your plans and vision for Ferguson Films.
“To say I’m proud of my husband would be the biggest understatement! This guy! This guy! Not only was he the biggest dreamer but also the hardest worker in the room! Boss extraordinaire! With the brightest smile and heartiest laughter! Sorely missed but fondly remembered by all! Congratulations Hubby! We receive this in your honour! May the memory of you never fade in people’s minds and hearts! You are loved by many, and remembered for how you touched people’s lives and the difference you made to them! You continue to inspire beyond the grave! You truly are one of a kind! Chosen to defy death,” she wrote.
