There are not many celebrities who have solid and lasting friendships.

Often, you hear rumours of behind-the-scenes fights and backstabbing.

But Our Perfect Wedding presenter, chef and comedian Lebogang ‘Funny Chef’ Tlokana and bestie DJ Lamiez Holworthy are friendship goals.

Lebogang recently launched her cookbook, Delicious Dishes.

Thinking she would make the announcement and move on, her bestie and DJ, Lamiez, had other plans of throwing her a surprise book launch party.

Taking to social media, Lebogang shared how surprised she was to find her close friends and family gathered at Lamiez’s home to celebrate her book.

“Lamiez threw me a surprise book release party! Could your friends ever?” an astonished Lebogang shared.

“She told me we were going out and that I must first come to her house so we can drive around with her f***in' car. Gakere paaaa…. Holla, Surprise. Usually surprises are gunshots for me, so you could imagine my shock.”

Lebogang says she couldn’t be happier and more grateful.

“It was supreme happiness for me when I realised she told my partner to invite my sisters, my brother-in-law and my friend. So you could imagine my disbelief when I saw them. Lamiez, you never fail to amaze me,” she says.

“Thank you for your kindness and support. Wang rata wena jo ibile gake belaele."
