She's had a rough time for a few weeks. She's been in the spotlight after she was allegedly assaulted at a party. 

But she's fine, she's assured friends and family in an Instagram post. 

South Africans have rallied around TV personality and rapper Boity Thulo after an incident with former Metro FM presenter Bujy Bikwa. 

She had fans and friends worried after images of her drenched in blood went viral. It followed an incident where she was allegedly assaulted by Bujy.

Boity was injured on the face after an argument broke out between her and Bujy, who allegedly threw a glass at the 31-year-old media personality at a hotel in Midrand Johannesburg.

Bujy (33) was recently booked and charged for assault and was later granted R2 000 bail at the Midrand Magistrates’ Court. 

As calls for justice for Boity intensified on social media, Bujy apologised, stating "I made a stupid drunk mistake".

Boity took to her Instagram stories to share a message of gratitude to everyone who has been showering her with support while she took time off to “heal both physically and emotionally”.

“Thank you to everyone who has sent me love, support and kept me in their prayers. It means the absolute world to me. I’m doing really well and feeling better than ever. Only way from here is up!” she wrote.
