What's a Zakes Bantwini birthday without a moving message from his wife Nandi Madida?

The Osama musician just turned 42 and Nandi can't help but gush over her 'musical genius' of a husband, Zakhele Madida.

The media personality waxed lyrical about his dedication to his family and his work.

This year will also mark their 6th wedding anniversary. The couple have two kids, Shaka and their youngest Nefertiti, who was diagnosed with autism.

Nandi says their daughter was a huge inspiration for the hit song Osama.

In her message, she detailed some of the lessons she's learnt from her husband.

"Where do I even begin? Happy birthday to a man who has really taught me what it means to be absolutely spiritually aligned with the universe. I remember you were writing and producing Osama and were on a fast at the time, you kept telling me that you felt so connected to the spiritual world and wanted that to reflect in your new music," she wrote.

The Say U Will singer said that when their daughter received her diagnosis, Zakes was happy and said he always knew she was special and smart.

"Our daughter who was a huge inspiration for the song had just received her diagnosis for being autistic during that time, you were so happy and mentioned you always knew she was special and smart. I have learnt from you that success is happiness, peace and contentment and not tangible things.

"Being spiritually rich is the most rewarding form of wealth for you and that is why I love you."
