He's always been spicy. His comebacks, clapbacks and general conversations can always go from mild to hot in the space of a second.
So it's no surprise that Moshe Ndiki has taken all of that and put it into a spice range.
Moshe’s Kitchen Spices will launch in January. They will be Kosher, Halaal, MSG free spices which will be available at most retail stores.
“I am so happy to be finally able to talk about this and see it coming to life. It has been three years in the making and there have been delays along the way, but it is true that God’s timing is perfect. I did not take anyone’s spices, I took my time with my own,” he says.
Moshe (28) is an entertainer and has always loved to cook, something he thanks his mother for.
“I get my passion for cooking from my mom. Cooking has never felt like a chore to me, in fact, I cook to destress. Sometimes there is a lot going on and once I get into my kitchen to put a meal together, I feel calmer afterwards,” he says.
Is he involved in the production or is he just being the face of the brand?
“Yes I am very involved in the manufacturing of the spices and I know that they are sourced here, in Africa. I had to do extensive research to make sure that everything was done by the book. People must please buy the spices and enjoy them. No more buying other brands now,” he laughs.

He has always had an entrepreneurial bone in him, he says, even from his high school days.
“I used to sell chocolates at school full time, the tuck shop ladies hated it. At some point I also sold iikota. I must credit my mom there too, she’s busy with a catering business too.”
He is extremely excited for the new year, although he cannot get into the details, he has something big in the pipeline career-wise.
“If everything goes my way, 2021 is going to be a very busy year. My love for money has and still is my biggest motivation to work hard,” he tells Drum.
