They seemed to have it all. They had fun together, enjoyed each other and had already clocked more than a decade as a couple.

Which is why when they announced their split, it came as a shock to fans around the globe as they were seen as one of Hollywood’s favorite couples.

Actors Jason Momoa and Lisa Bonet have split after four years of marriage and 16 years together.

In a joint statement they shared on their Instagram, the couple said that the only reason they were sharing the news is because they want to move on with their lives with dignity.

“We have all felt the squeeze and changes of these transformational times… A revolution is unfolding - and our family is of no exception… feeling and growing from the seismic shifts occurring. We share our Family news - That we are parting ways in marriage.”

They said their love for one another as ever evolving.

“The love between us carries on, evolving in ways it wishes to be known and lived. We free each other - to be who we are learning to become.”

Lisa and Jason tied the knot in 2017 and have two children together, Nakoa-Wolf Manakauapo Namakaeha Momoa (13) and Lola Iolani Momoa (14).
