With only a few seats at her table, the five-year-old had a Vampirina themed birthday party. Kairo had her face painted blue and an outfit similar to the young vampire from Disney’s Vampirina. The décor was pink, blue, purple and had black bats. Kairo also had her dog, Kleo, dyed pink for her birthday party.

Her birthday is going to be celebrated throughout the month of July and her post-birthday celebrations have already started. Zinhle gave us a look into Kairo’s Barbie themed birthday breakfast.

On an Instagram post, Zinhle thanked God for the blessing that is her daughter. “I am so grateful for my angel, she’s brought me so much joy. Happy Birthday Owethu, mama loves you so much,” the DJ said.

Alongside her birthday party, Kairo celebrated having one million followers on Instagram. She posted a video that she did with her ‘Glammy’ Lynn Forbes and her mother. At the beginning of the video, DJ Zinhle pops a bottle of grape juice as the trio talk to Kairo’s followers on Instagram Live.

“We opened Kairo’s account on the 9th of October 2017. It’s almost been three years and she’s reached one million followers. We would just like to say a huge thank you to everyone that’s been following the account. I manage the account and I read all the messages; you are all super amazing. Cheers to you guys,” Lynn says as they all raised their glasses.

The one million followers’ celebration consisted of 15 things that Kairo was giving away; from CBD oils, to swimming sessions to skincare products. The grand prize was from DJ Zinhle’s recently launched masks for adults, named This Girl Can and ones for kids. The person who wins all 100 of the masks will give them away to any preschool of their choice, in light of the current pandemic.

AKA’s music can be heard playing in the background throughout the live video. Later in the video, Kairo comes back wearing a different outfit. The video ends with Kairo’s cousins singing for her and Glammy lighting her second cake of the day.
