Everything he touches seems to turn into gold, or breaks a record or two.

And this time it's not different. His listening session for his latest album, DONDA, was off the charts, literally.

Kanye West's new album is named after his late mother, Donda West, who died in 2007 aged 58. Her voice is reportedly featured in one of the songs in the album.

The American rapper recently filled out Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta for a listening event for the album, set to be released on 6 August.

The stadium was packed with 42 0000 of the rapper’s hardcore fans including his soon-to-be ex-wife Kim Kardashian West and their children.

It also broke Apple music’s global live streaming record of all time.
