She spends her days on her reality show, working on her make up lines and talking endorsements.
And it's all paid off. Media personality and businesswoman Kim Kardashian West has been certified a billionaire by Forbes.
Kim is worth $1 billion (R14,554,432,473) right now. Forbes credits Kim's two lucrative businesses for accelerating her to 10 figures, her cosmetics company KKW Beauty and shapewear company Skims.
Kim launched KKW Beauty in 2017, selling makeup products such as contour kits, eyeshadows, lipsticks, concealers, and fragrances. Within a year, the business brought in about $100 million in revenue (R 1,455,173,843) according to Forbes.
She launched her shapewear Skims in 2018, which Forbes estimated to be worth $500 million (R7,269,548,144).
The rest of Kim’s fortune sits in cash, investments, and real estate. She has earned $10 million (R145,392,073) every year since 2012 from Keeping Up With the Kardashians, endorsement deals and other endeavours.
“We value a variety of assets, including private companies, real estate, art and more. We don’t pretend to know each billionaire’s private balance sheet (though some provide it). When documentation isn’t supplied or available, we discount fortunes," Forbes Magazine said.
