Just a few months ago, TV and radio personality, Lerato Kganyago and her husband Thami Ndlala decided to call it quits. The separation came just two months after their much-publicised traditional wedding, where Lerato was officially welcomed by Thami’s family in Sandhurst, northern Johannesburg.

Lerato took to her Instagram page and shared the news of their separation, “It is with a heavy heart that we announce that Thami and I have decided to go our separate ways. We have come to realise that our different priorities and workloads have not afforded us the time to invest in our relationship. I will continue to care deeply for Thami and look forward to growing our friendship. We trust that our privacy will be respected during this difficult time,” she wrote.

However, just a little over two months later, it seems the two are not only back together, but they are getting married again.

According to Lerato’s Instagram stories, for her birthday, while she was working from home upstairs, Thami was planning a big surprise for her downstairs. She posted a video on her Instagram stories of her walking down the stairs.

Each step was engraved with a quality Thami believes Lerato possesses; with the last one having her name on it. At the bottom of the stairway, the words “Will you marry me again?” were beautifully written on the floor.

Some of the dozen balloons spelt out Thami’s surname, and it seems he got another yes because Lerato posted herself wearing the huge rock on her finger.

It seems even though this lockdown has been quite eventful for Lerato’s love life, her birthday came bearing life-changing gifts!
