She's built up quite a solid reputation in the media industry since she was crowned Miss South Africa in 2015. 

Liesl Laurie-Mthombeni has graced magazine covers as a model, hosted tv shows and joined radio in 2016 at one of SA's most popular radio stations.

She now hangs up her earphones at Jacaranda FM, where she was part of the Breakfast with Martin Bester team, after six years of being on the airwaves.

She said that her last day on air will be 30 June. 

She was recently announced as part of the panel of judges that will crown Miss South Africa 2022.
