After two decades on the small screen, you would have thought she’d be used to receiving praise.
But Lorcia Cooper can’t stop smiling and thanking us when we tell her how much we love her latest character, Mkhonto on Mzansi drama series, Housekeepers.
“Even after all these years of being an actress, I still feel so humble when people get excited about my work because, honestly, people don’t have to,” she tells us. “As performers, we often take it for granted that people will like our work and we forget that it’s not our right that they like us or support our work. So, I am always grateful and thank God for that.”
