It's almost time to say goodbye - forever.

Legendary singer and producer Tsepo Tshola will be laid to rest on 30 July. The Village Pope died in Teyateyaneng, Lesotho after battling Covid-19 complications.

The funeral service will be held at Thaba Bosiu, Heroes Acre.

He was 68 and spent his life on stage, where he rose to international stardom.

The singer experimented with different sounds and collaborated with a number of artists and groups including gospel choir Joyous Celebration, Jub Jub, Cassper Nyovest, Musa,  Thandiswa Mazwai and the late icon Oliver Mtukudzi.

Since his death, there have been a number of memorial services and tributes on radio and TV both in South Africa and Lesotho.
