Love is in the air for musician Simphiwe Dana as she celebrates her one-year anniversary with her fiancée.
The songstress took to her Instagram page to share the occasion with her 98K followers.
“Our First Anniversary. Today is our one year anniversary. Everyday I’m thankful that we found each other. May we hold each other for a lifetime,” she posted.
The Bamako singer is popularly known for being one who never shies away from speaking out against patriarchy and toxic masculinity and advocating for the voices of women around the country.
Last year Simphiwe (41) shared that she is in love with a woman. Although she said she expected backlash for coming out as bisexual, to her surprise, she received lots of love and support from her fans.
