Sarafina is a 1992 film which took the world by storm. It focused on the struggles of South African students fighting for their education.
The movie included a dance scene, which became a staple in all township theatre productions.
Every year around Youth Day, the movie hits TV screens and South Africans re-enact the dance scenes. But this time, fans were excited when the original lead actress of Sarafina, Leleti Khumalo took on the challenge with the cast and crew members of Imbewu: The Seed.
They called on other productions to get involved and it wasn't long before fellow Sarafina cast member Sindi Dlathu levelled up.
