The star boy hitmaker gave a performance like no other which was pre-recorded. He performed his song “Save Your Tears”.
Another artist who was a runner up to The Weeknd when it comes to the most wins Sunday night is the late Pop Smoke, who received five awards. Pop Smoke was shot and killed in a home invasion robbery last year and his murder is still under investigation.
Drake was also in attendance and he received the Artist of the Decade award and gave a touching speech while surrounded by his friends and family as well as his son, Adonis.

"I am really self-conscious about my music even if I do a good job, I always wonder how I could have done it better. I rarely celebrate anything," he said.
