Actress Thuso Mbedu flew the South African flag high when she bagged the lead role in the international TV series The Underground Railroad – and it seems the actress is having a blast shooting the series.
In her latest Instagram post, the actress who now lives in the US, posted a series of videos in which she and other members of the cast can be seen being goofy, singing along to some karaoke and hanging out.
In the caption, she expressed how safe she felt around her cast members and how she was happy to have them in her life.
“I feel safe enough with this group of people to yank my wig off in the middle of the night (because I was sweating bullets ??) and to literally throw it on top of my hat for the pictures (that I forced myself into) at the end of the night... these are the types of people you want in your life. Love you guys!!!!!!!,” she wrote.
The Underground Railroad, which will be directed by Barry Jenkins, is set to follow Cora (Thuso) who has escaped from her plantation in Georgia and makes a desperate journey to the South, but she soon discovers much more than anticipated: a secret network of tracks underground as well as tunnels.
