Sunday evenings are never complete in many households without an episode of Our Perfect Wedding (OPW) on Mzansi Magic (DStv 161). With lockdown restrictions, weddings are not permitted however, there are still enough pre-recorded episodes for OPW to keep airing.

Presenting season 10 of the wedding show, Khanyisa Titus had her first episode aired in March 2020, during the lockdown. It has been a few weeks of hosting for the new face of OPW, watched by over nine million viewers.

"All the episodes that the viewers have seen thus far, as well as those that they will see in the upcoming weeks, are all pre-recorded episodes which were filmed before the national lockdown was scheduled," the 30-year-old says.

Khanyisa has been having the time of her life as the presenter of one of the most-watched shows in the country. The Sunday-night reality show has been hosted by talented celebrities such as Gomora diva, Nomsa Buthelezi Shezi and comedian Tumi Morake.

In a heart-warming Instagram post, Khanyisa shared how much Nomsa means to her. "You equipped me with so many lessons for my new journey and this was such a blessing siswam. Enkosi kakhulu. I love you," she wrote.

For now, Khanyisa is spending time at home, respecting lockdown regulations.

However, she is looking forward to resuming filming once large gatherings including weddings are permitted.

"I am at home working on perfecting my craft so that after the lockdown I come back with a bang and continue to bring South Africans some more unique love stories," she adds.

Our Perfect Wedding airs Sundays at 19:00 on Mzansi Magic (DStv 161).
