Cape Town - Socialite and media personality Zodwa Wabantu recently met Minster of Environmental Affairs Nomvula Mokonyane – and it was an emotional meeting indeed.

Zodwa – who recently shared that she is placing her retirement plans on hold – met the Minister at Eyadini in Durban, where they took a video which Zodwa shared her Instagram page.

In the video Minister Mokanyane gave a short speech on Zodwa’s uniqueness while Zodwa is in tears.

She further added that she speaks on behalf all the women and she encouraged the socialite.

“I represent every woman, and nobody must judge you, you are who you are out of your choice, and they must respect it. Keep it that way,” the Minister said.

Zodwa's choice of fashion and dance moves has resulted in her being banned from some of the African countries and she has sparked debates across the continent.
