Living inside Soweto during a week filled with looting and then soldiers and cops patrolling and searching for looted goods has been hell. 

It might sound a bit like an exaggeration, but for someone who couldn't even leave the house for fear of running into the looters or getting caught in the crossfire, it was an experience I never want to repeat.

Suddenly, I was afraid to leave the house, not sure if I will come back in one piece.
