The start of a new year brings new hopes and new resolutions – most of which will be broken a few months down the line.
How many times have we promised ourselves to cut down on our alcohol intake, quit smoking, and disregard those negative people in our lives?
And how many times have we managed a dry January and then partied hard from February on? Started having two or three cigarettes a day and then crept back to 10, 15, 20. And forgiven those so-called friends who let us down countless times?
