In a series of Instagram stories, the 27-year-old revealed she was making a hair mask to help moisturise her and her 23-month-old daughter Kulture’s hair.

The best part about Cardi’s hair treatment is that all the ingredients she used can be found at any grocery store.

In the video, the star used two ripe avocados, argan oil, a scoop of mayonnaise and a bit of honey.

She also added castor oil, two raw eggs and a banana before transferring the mixture to a blender.

“This is avocado [in the bowl], and I just finished putting the argan oil [in],” she said to her fans.

“I’m gonna put [in] mayonnaise, castor oil, olive oil – I know it’s a lot of oil but my baby girl’s hair gotta be really hydrated like mine – and I’m about to put egg and honey [in].

After mixing and blending all the ingredients, we see the Grammy winner proceeding to apply the mask to Kulture's hair, demonstrating how it brings out her beautiful curls.

Cardi then applied the treatment over her natural hair, which is a kinky texture.

"OK, guys this is really what my hair is," she explains in the video. "My hair gets like this when I blow-dry it and then two days later, it just gets puffed up. This is my texture, it just doesn't get curly," she said.

Hours later, Cardi returned to Insta to give fans an update on how smooth the mask made her hair.

She also posted a picture of her results: “The end results of all that s**t I put on my hair earlier…Treat your hair ladies.”
