She was tired of seeing her people suffering. Every day she'd often see the sick walking long distances or trying to find transportation to the nearest health centre and there just wasn't one close enough.

So being a nurse with 24 years experience, she decided to take up the challenge.

Nobom Nini opened up a clinic in her small town of Reeston in the Eastern Cape after seeing just how much the area was devastated by teenage pregnancies and HIV.
