
The Eastern Cape beauty – who is in the Top 10 of many pundits’ favourites – has been overwhelmed with the support she has received from around South Africa: “I am truly blessed to be representing my beautiful nation. Thank you for your encouragement, I will be giving it my all on Sunday and hope to do our country proud!”

While the Miss Universe pageant won't be televised live locally on Sunday, supporters will be able to stream the finale on the pageant's YouTube channel on https://www.youtube.com/missuniverse from around 3am on Monday morning (January 26) South African time. M-Net will air the pageant on TV (channel 101) on February 7 at 16:00.
Zokufa, a 23-year-old model and TV production student from Port Elizabeth, was crowned the new Miss South Africa 2014 in December after Rolene Strauss won the Miss World title in London. Zokufa was her first princess.
