Laura Lee is a beauty YouTuber who currently has about five million YouTube subscribers and her own makeup line called Laura Lee Los Angeles, making her one of the most high-profile beauty vloggers in the world but all of that changed this week.

The 29-year-old lost thousands of followers after a tweet from six years ago was uncovered of her making a racist comments about Black Men. The drama started when one of Laura’s ex-friends fans, Shane Dawson (who is also a popular beauty YouTuber), uncovered some old, racist and body-shaming tweets on her account.

Laura later deleted the posts. In one of her tweets from 2012, she wrote:  "How do you blindfold a Chinese person? Put floss over their eyes" and in another, she wrote a tweet using the N****.

"N***as in Paris? Whaaat I thought they couldn't afford to leave Compton! LOL.” she wrote.

There was outrange about one specific tweet Laura Lee wrote that has caused almost 200 000 followers to unsubscribe from her channel, according to the Mirror.

"Tip for all black people if you pull ur pants up you can run from the police faster,”she wrote.

Twitter was not impressed at all.

She apologized on Twitter for the “ignorant tweets” that she made back in 2012, and then apologized again in a video Sunday night, which opens with the beauty guru loudly crying.

“I’m so sorry. I’m so sorry to you guys. I’m so sorry for disappointing you. It hurts me so bad to disappoint you all who have supported me for so many years. I know that I’m better than that person,” she said
