“The clothing line is inspired by my patriotic obsession with SA culture and of course the aesthetics of my music. I figured it was only logical for me to create my own range seeing that I've managed to create fashion trends in the urban space with an ensemble of various other brands. It’s just time for us to do for self and to use that influence to empower us,” K.O says.
K.O’s manager and business partner Thabiso Khati says the approach around the K.O brand is to continually create new opportunities.
“K.O is known for setting trends with his dress style and setting up his own clothing company was natural progression”, Khati said.
Khati added that this opportunities will capitalise on the rapper’s popularity and wide influence within the SA and African music, lifestyle and urban culture space.
