Just a few days ago, the lives of 21 families changed - forever. Some thought their beloved children were sleeping, some knew they were out with friends so they kept one ear tuned for their return.

They never imagined that their children, all between the ages of 13 and 17, would never walk through their doors again. And today, they had to do the hardest thing in their lives - say goodbye to young children who had their whole lives ahead of them.

So much so that most of their obituaries were four to five lines long. After all, they had only just started to live.
